Highlights

  • Open and close the shop. In the Farmer Dashboard, a banner on the Schedules screen shows whether the shop is taking orders, and Manage shop status opens or closes all catalogs in one step, with a custom message for customers. See Hiding and Closing Products, Schedules, and Your Shop.
  • A new way to sign in. One box takes either a phone number or an email address. Email accounts can sign in with a 6-digit code sent by email instead of a password, and if a text code doesn't arrive, the code can be sent by email instead. See How to Login to GrownBy.
  • Spanish and French. The marketplace is available in Spanish and French, with a language picker in the site header and footer. Notification emails follow the same preference. See Changing your language on GrownBy.
  • SNAP/EBT on Register (Beta). Farms using Fortis card readers can accept SNAP/EBT in person through GrownBy Register. See Accepting SNAP/EBT on Register.
  • Several discounts on one order. An order can carry several discounts at once, and cashiers can apply a custom one-time discount without saving it as a reusable coupon. Receipts and invoices list each discount by name. See Using Discounts on Register.

Shopping

  • Farm profiles show an "Other ways to shop" section linking to the farm's wholesale shop.
  • Farm tags sit in a single scrollable row with an "All tags" link that opens the full list.
  • Cancelling a share paid in full offline prorates the invoice for the weeks already delivered instead of voiding the whole thing.

Farmer dashboard

  • Received, Donated, and Missed fulfillment can be marked (and cleared) from the Subscriptions and Orders sections of a customer's detail page, for past dates as well as upcoming ones.
  • Sales CSV reports (sorted and unsorted) include a Producer column.
  • Orders, Customers, Invoices, and Products all use the same Filters pop-up, with the ability to select several values per filter. Selections carry through to CSV exports.
  • The sign-in sheet's closing button is labeled Finalize Sign In.
  • An order is marked cancelled once all of its pickups have been cancelled.
  • "Reschedule All" on a subscription no longer allows a switch between pickup and delivery. Move those pickups one at a time instead.
  • Monthly products on a biweekly schedule correctly map to the first pickup available on the schedule for that month.
  • When custom shares fail to close, specific messages detail the cause of the failure and steps to fix it.
  • Customizable share preferences do a better job of honoring allergies across related products, such as leeks and onion-based sauces.

Wholesale

  • Wholesale search opens on an "Any" distribution type, so the first search isn't narrowed to delivery near a specific address.
  • Pickup dates can be edited in a cart that holds items from more than one farm.

Register

  • Adding a product after a search takes fewer taps.
  • Register users without a farm get a "Set Up Your Farm" button that opens farm setup on the web.
  • The new Settings screen has a Payments section for card readers and terminals and a Peripherals section for the receipt printer, barcode scanner, and cash drawer.
