Everything you connect to Register lives on the Settings screen: card readers and terminals, and the receipt printer and the hardware that runs through it.

  1. Tap the farm logo in the top right corner of your home screen to open the navigation menu.
  2. Select Settings at the bottom of the menu.

On a tablet, the sections sit in a list beside the section you're viewing. On a phone, tap a section to open it and use the back arrow to return to the list.

Payments

The Payments section is where you connect the card readers your farm uses. It appears once your farm has Stripe or Fortis set up.

  • Stripe: press Find to search for nearby Stripe readers over Bluetooth. Make sure the reader is turned on, and available readers will be listed for you to choose from.
  • Fortis: your farm's Fortis terminals are listed here. If you only have one, it is selected for you. If you have several, choose the one you're using at this location.

Peripherals

The Peripherals section covers the receipt printer, barcode scanner, and cash drawer. Each one shows whether it's connected.

  • Receipt Printer: press Find to search for a Star Micronics printer over Bluetooth. See Connect a Star Micronics printer.
  • Barcode Scanner: the scanner connects through the receipt printer, so there is no separate setup here. This card shows the scanner's current status. See Connect a Star Micronics scanner.
  • Cash Drawer: the drawer also connects through the receipt printer. Once a printer is connected, an Open button appears so you can open the drawer by hand. See Connect a Star Micronics cash drawer.
