How to Add a Customer to an Order on Register
Use Farm Credit & Order Tracking
If you have an existing GrownBy Marketplace or Wholesale account, you may add customers you've had in the past to their in person Register orders. This can be helpful to manage and utilize their farm credit and track their orders. You can also add new GrownBy customers to your list if they have a GrownBy account and their QR code available.
Adding a Customer
Once your customer’s order is ready in the cart, click on the small person icon located in the top left corner, as shown below. You’ll see a list of all your customers along with their available farm credit. You can also use the search bar to quickly look up individual customers.
You can also add a new customer to your contacts using their GrownBy QR code from their GrownBy Retail account page online or through the app. Just click on the QR code symbol next to the search bar and your camera will automatically pop up.
After selecting the correct customer, click “Add Customer” in green at the bottom right of the window. The cart will then update to display the customer’s name at the top, confirming that their order is correctly assigned.
1. Navigate to the customer page.
Click on the person icon in the top left corner of the cart.
2. Find your customer and add them to order.
You can look up your customer if they're already in your GrownBy customer list, and to add a new existing GrownBy customer, but they're not on your list, you can scan their account QR Code by pressing the QR scanner icon to the right of the search bar. Click the green "Add Customer" button when you've found your customer.
