GrownBy was built to serve farms at many scales serving a diversity of markets. The selection of a plan helps us create an experience that is unique to your farm, and is a requirement for selling on GrownBy.

How do I sign up?

New Farms should go to the Plan Selection Survey to begin.

Existing farms should visit Account Settings → Membership & Plan. Depending on your current plan status, the button may read Change Plan, Upgrade plan, or Renew.

I see messages on my GrownBy Dashboard that say, “Plan Required.” What should I do?

Some features, such as offline payment configurations, are blocked unless you have the correct GrownBy Plan. If you need access to one of these features, you may upgrade your plan.

Do I need to join the cooperative?

We strongly recommend it, but it is not required. Co-op members receive 10% off all plans.

Joining the Cooperative

Joining the GrownBy cooperative unlocks the 10% plan discount and supports the farmer-owned model behind GrownBy. Membership is a one-off $250 charge — not a recurring subscription. Membership requires active sales and is available after your first sale. Once payment goes through, the GrownBy team will follow up with your membership details.

How to join

  1. In your dashboard, go to Account Settings → Membership & Plan. You'll see the Co-op Membership card.
  2. Click Join now on the Co-op Membership card. A Join the Farm Generations Cooperative pop-up opens showing membership benefits and the $250 membership fee. Click Continue to payment to proceed.

  1. Pay the membership fee through Stripe.

Once payment is complete, you'll see a confirmation and the GrownBy team will follow up to confirm your membership and apply the 10% discount.
