The Reports screen gives you a quick look at how sales are going without leaving Register. You can check it during a market day or at the end of the week to see your sales, orders, customers, and best-selling products.
For detailed exports and accounting reports, use the Reports tab in your Farmer Dashboard.
How to Access the Reports Screen
Tap the farm logo in the top right corner of the starting screen to open the side navigation menu, then select Reports.
Choosing a date range
Use the Date dropdown at the top of the screen to choose Today, Yesterday, or Last 7 days. Every card on the screen updates to match.
Many cards compare the range you picked against the period before it, shown as a small tag such as "Up 8% vs yesterday." For Today, the comparison uses the same time of day, so a morning check compares against the same hours of yesterday rather than all of yesterday.
Overall sales
The Overall sales card shows three figures for the range:
- Gross sales, with the change from the previous period.
- Orders, with your average sale per order.
- Customers, with how many of them are returning customers.
Below the totals, you'll see each location's gross sales and its share of your total sales.
Sales over time
The Sales over time chart shows your sales across the range: hour by hour for a single day, or day by day for the last 7 days.
- Tap Sales, Orders, or Customers to change what the chart shows.
- Use the Locations dropdown to show all locations or just one.
- Tick the Compare box to show the previous period on the same chart.
Orders
The Orders card shows the number of orders in the range, how that compares to the previous period, and a breakdown by location.
Customers
The Customers card shows how many customers you had in the range, split into New and Returning, with a breakdown by location.
- A returning customer is a GrownBy customer who ordered from your farm before the range started, at any of your locations.
- Each walk-in sale with no customer attached counts as one new customer.
Product sales
The Product sales card lists each product sold in the range, with its category, the quantity sold, and its gross sales.
- If the products sold fall into more than one category, tap a category above the list to show only those products, or tap All to show everything.
- Use the Sort by dropdown to sort by Highest sales, Most sold, or Name.
- The card shows your top six products. Tap the button below the list to see the rest, and Show less to collapse the list again.
