What happened to my Farm Credit?
Customers and farmers are sometimes confused about Farm Credit. A customer may claim a vacation week, receive credit for the week, but then find that their farm credit has been used. Here's what to understand about how Farm Credit works in GrownBy:
- If you have upcoming automatic installment invoices/payments, GrownBy will first use any Farm Credit available on your account and then use your payment method on file.
- If a customer would like to avoid using Farm Credit for their upcoming invoice, they can login and pay the invoice ahead of the due date, removing the farm credit payment method when they do so.
- Each invoice shows the amount of farm credit and the amount charged to another payment method. This is the best and easiest place to look if you need to understand what Farm Credit was used for.
- A farm credit transaction history exists on Stripe -- GrownBy staff or your farmer can look up a customer's history if needed
