Account Setup Notifications
Welcome Email: Sent when you join GrownBy or when a farmer adds you as a customer.
Password reset: Sent if you request a reset or if a farmer adds you so that you can access your account.
Order Notifications
Order placed: Sent when you place an order, when a farmer creates an order for you, or when your customization closes without your having placed an order (for Customizable share types).
Overdue invoice: Sent fourteen days after an invoice is due if it is still unpaid.
New manual invoice: Sent when the farmer creates a new manual invoice for you.
Pickup reminder: Sent the day before your scheduled pickup.
Delivery reminder: Sent at 4 AM on the day of your delivery. Note that unlike the pickup reminder (sent the day before), the delivery email goes out the morning your delivery arrives.
Items delivered: Sent when your delivery order is confirmed as delivered.
Rescheduled order: Sent when your pickup or delivery is rescheduled to a new date.
Push notifications on the app notify you when your pickup is tomorrow and when your delivery is arriving today.
Customizable Shares
Customizable share open: Sent when your customizable share opens for ordering.
Auto-placed order: Sent when a custom-share order is automatically placed on your behalf by the GrownBy automation.
Gift Cards
Gift card purchased: The purchaser receives a confirmation; the recipient receives a separate email with a redemption link.
Gift card redemption reminder: Sent if the recipient hasn't redeemed their gift card after a number of days. GrownBy sends a reminder email with the redemption link.
Payment Notifications
Farm credit balance change: Sent when your farm credit balance changes. Changes to farm credit occur when you make a new order, when an installment is covered by farm credit, when you or the farmer adds credit, or when you claim a vacation week (which adds farm credit).
Refund: Sent when a refund is issued.
Credit card charged: Sent when your credit card is charged for a recurring installment.
Invoice marked paid: Sent when you paid offline and your invoice is marked paid. Note that the internal note the farmer can fill in when marking an invoice paid offline is not visible to you.
Payment due: Sent when you have a payment due. Reasons include when a scheduled payment fails or when an offline installment payment comes due.
Credit card expiring / expired: Sent when your credit card on file is expiring soon or has expired.
Wholesale Customer Notifications
Order placed: Notification that order was placed and farmer is reviewing draft. Sent immediately after order.
Order approved: Notification that farmer approved order at time of approval.
Order declined: Notification that farmer declined order or that order date came without approval.
Pickup: Notification of pickup the day before pickup.
Delivery: Notification that delivery is in progress.
Invoice (terms 0, offline payment): Notification that a new invoice is due on fulfillment.
Invoice (terms > 0, online payment): Notification that payment has been received.
Invoice due (terms > 0): Notification when invoice is due.
Invoice 14-days overdue (terms > 0): Notification when invoice is 14-days overdue.
