How much does GrownBy Wholesale cost?
GrownBy wholesale is intended to offer maximum value to your farm. We currently charge a 2% service fee, as well as a monthly hosting fee that is discounted for our co-op members. Payments by credit card on GrownBy are 2.9% + $.30 and 1% up to a maximum of $5 for ACH payments. You can require that your customers pay these fees.
Is there a GrownBy Wholesale app?
Yes and no.
As a farmer, you may access GrownBy wholesale from the GrownBy app and on mobile web.
As a shopper, the GrownBy app is only available for retail customers. Wholesale customers can shop on their phones on any mobile web browser.
Do you deliver my products?
No, at this time all logistics are handled by the farm. We provide many tools for you to set up deliveries, pickups, and shipping zones for this purpose.
How is this any better than sending texts and emails to a chef?
Here are a few things that wholesale buyers appreciate about GrownBy Wholesale:
- It is much easier for a chef to order from a single website as opposed to going to multiple websites.
- GrownBy puts all of a buyer's invoices in one place, across farms.
- GrownBy provides a consolidated list of orders that the buyer has placed across farms.
- GrownBy makes it easier to shop across farms and find what the buyer is looking for more easily.
Shouldn't I be worried about competition with other farmers on GrownBy?
In all likelihood, your buyers are already shopping with other farms. By adding your farm's inventory to GrownBy you will simply make it easier for that buyer to shop from you more frequently.
